Do you think that students should have thier own laptops in schools?

Connectivisim

Siemens and Downes provide good points on the idea of Connectivism being a viable theory. However , I found it interesting where other authors discredited this theory due to it not fulfilling the specific requirements. Miller suggests that emerging theory needs to fall within the domanin of scientific research and scientific methods.

If this is the case, do we need to pay homage to this theory or put it aside like everything else?

Do the existing theories in practice cover the the idea of connectivism or Do we need a new theory to accomodate the vast movement around the ideas of knowledge learned and knowledge shared?
